20th Century Fox's JOY opens in theaters on December 25, 2015, telling the real-life story of Joy Mangano, who in the 1990s became a entrepreneurial powerhouse with a series of household inventions, including the famed, “self-wringing” Miracle Mop.

Please Note: I was invited as media to the movie screening and cast interview. Any views expressed are always 100% my own.

But Joy's rise to famous business owner wasn't easy. Along the way Joy had to deal with both the issues of starting a business along with dealing with family issues and insecurities within her self.

Jennifer Lawrence does an amazing job portraying JOY as she goes along her life and business journey. The story-line is both relateable and inspiring for anyone who's had an idea to do/make/be something better.

The movie is filled with both heart wrenching moments and moments that make you laugh till your belly hurts. JOY's family and their actions are constant examples of these moments in her journey.

And in a way that's life, a mixture of both sad and happy moments as we aim to do what inspires us.

While the JOY film will be an inspiration for women everywhere, the underlining story is one that can be enjoyed by any dreamer, inventor and free thinker to follow their ideas.
