The most common effects of menopause can cause several changes and issues within the body, including mood swings, sleeplessness and weight-gain. What people may not know is that during menopause, levels of the female hormones estrogen and progesterone drop rapidly leading to accelerated skin aging. Deep wrinkles, puffiness and dryness are common during this time.

UK skincare giant Rodial has just launched a new skincare line called Bee Venom, which is clinically proved to halt the damaging effects of the menopause on the face. The range includes a moisturizer, eye cream, and serum, all in which bee venom works in synergy with a unique complex of plant stem cells to help visibly improve skin tone and elasticity.

  • Bee Venom Moisturizer is an advanced formula that revitalizes and renews for naturally younger looking skin.
  • Bee Venom Eye improves skin tone and elasticity, smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the delicate eye area, and diminishes the appearance of dark circles for a brighter, wide-awake look.
  • Bee Venom Super Serum is a concentrated skin-perfecting serum that illuminates and revitalizes skin, corrects skin tone, plumps and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, enhances skin elasticity, and provides immediate and long-lasting hydration for a radiant complexion.

The bee venom itself increases blood circulation, gently plumping out and firming the skin, filling and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. Honey bee venom causes a rush of blood to the area and stimulates the production of natural collagen and elastin. Collagen strengthens body tissue while elastin is the protein that helps the skin to remain taut and bounce back into shape after being pressed or pinched.

Rodial Bee Venom launches in the United States this month in Nordstrom and SpaceNK stores, retailing between $140 and $200.
